Rebecca was bitten by the animation bug during work experience at Bournemouth's Arts Institute and chose to study for a BA in Animation at Southampton Institute (now Southampton Solent University) - she graduated in 2005 . Rapid Retreat was her first hand drawn film - she was helped through the painstaking process of creating thousands of drawings and marathon scanning and colouring sessions by her faithful hamster, Alfy!
