The other leading character is Payal who is studying the Indian Classical dance Bharatnatyam.
She is in search of a proficient dancer to help her achieve her life's goals.
Her search ends when she meets Sunder.

But trauma in their lives arises when both fail to confess their love for fear of loosing each other.
It is then that a major turning point in their lives materializes, eventually revealing the truth behind the misunderstanding.
Kirti kumar, who happens to be the brother of the lead star, Govinda, directs this film which surprisingly took one whole year before its release last April.
Both Govinda and Rani try to rise above the script and they have done a commendable job in the acting department.
The musical score by Uttam Singh is average.
Overall, Pyaar Diwana Hota Hai is a movie for purely die hard fans of Govinda.
