Punt and Walk Ghost Tours

Christmas & New Year Ghost Tours in association with Visit Cambridge, Scudamore's Punting Company are running a Christmas & New Year Punting & Walking Ghost Tours combining a ghostly lantern-lit punt tour of the College Backs with a spooky guided walk through Cambridge's most haunted dimly-lit lanes. Join us, if you dare, to explore Cambridge's troubled past and hear of strange happenings, tragic events and restless spirits.

Time: Daily at 16:00. Tours last approx. 90 minutes.

A Musical Adaption of "A Christmas Carol"

Event description: The finest of Christmas music set to the poignent words of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol", capturing the essence of his Christmas message "Goodwill to All". Performed by the Minden Band of the Queen's Division.
Proceeds from the concert will go to Burwell Museum and the Royal Anglian Memorial Fund.

Special Event Burwell

Event description: It features the Minden Band of the Queen's Division and takes place in St. Mary's Church Burwell.  Proceeds from the concert are shared between the Band's Benevolent Fund and the Friends of the Museum in Burwell.  Many of this regiment have seen service abroad recently, returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Holy Cow Charity Fundraiser

Event description: Village Outreach Society is a local charity of 3 Cambridge residents and we are fundraising to buy diary cows for Dalit (Untouchable) families in rural southern India. Each cow (and her calf) costs £220 and we are appealing for 220 people to donate £1 on 21 December to enable us to gift a cow from generous Cambridge shoppers.
