Peterborough Museum - Get Crafty from Monday 22nd - Friday 26th Oct from 10.30am - 12.30pm. Fun for families, with paper, crayons and glue. Plus, weather permitting, you can try out Mini Diggers - learn how to be an archaeologist! Cost: free. 01733 343329 for details.

Welney Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust - Children's Day: Author CA Chance will read from ‘The Trepets’ at 11am and 3pm, plus art workshops and pumpkin carving, treasure hunt and pond-dipping. 01353 860711 for details.

Monday 22nd October

Queensgate - Meet Bart and Homer Simpson. From 11am then on the hour, Bart and Homer will meet and greet their fans.

March Town Hall Arts Centre - Creepy Character Creations: a Halloween theatre workshop. Remember Jekyll and Hyde? How werewolves change by the full moon? How vampires change shape and people disappear before your very eyes? Workshop with Fenland Youth Theatre Arts Courses director Joseph Ballard. Please arrive wearing black/dark comfortable clothing. Queensgate - Mad Science Workshop and guest appearance by Dexter from Dexter’s Laboratory – kids can get scientific with this interactive science workshop and meet and greet Dexter, the boy genius.
