East of England Autumn Show 14th of October 2007 - East of England Showground in Peterborough from 10am-4.30pm.

Keep your diaries free on Sunday 14th of October 2007, for a show packed with weird and wonderful animals as well as a chance to get in some early christmas shopping done.

Organised by the East of England Agricultural Society, visitors to the show can expect to see hundreds of animals of all shapes and sizes, from small livestock exhibits including mice and fancy rats to special displays of rare and endangered breeds. Highlights include a display of exotic reptiles, and a glimpse of the Wisbech Shire Horse Show, with horses dressed in their traditional glory.

If your dog is your best friend, you and your canine companion will have the chance to shine with the "Scruffts" dog show, or just sit-back and watch the final of the Burgess Supa Dog Agility Stakes.

With a couple of hundred trade stands to choose from, including food and drink displays, children will have a range of activities to keep them busy, including a traditional Victorian funfair.

Gates at the East of England Showground in Peterborough open from 10am-4.30pm. Tickets are priced at Family (2+2) £14, Adult £7, Senior (65+) £5 and Children (5-16 years) £3 and may be purchased in advance via the ticket hotline on 0845 450 6425.
