One of the region's leading countryside and lifestyle events returns to the East of England Showground in Peterborough on June 15th, 16th and 17th, with a huge range of activities designed to cater for the whole family.

At the heart of the show is a display of the very best of British livestock, as well as a whole host of other traditional features; working steam, vintage machinery and horses from Shetland to Shires.

But the show offers so much more than just that; this year sees the debut of the Peterborough International Orchid Show on Saturday and Sunday. The spectacular displays of the finest orchids from across the globe will not only provide a feast for the senses, but also shows the intense competition amongst the competitors for the coveted trophies.

The food lovers among you will find much to enjoy in the Food Hall and Farmers' Food Court, including on Friday pupils from local schools battling it out to win the grand final of the Schools Food Challenge. The rivalry continues on Saturday and Sunday when top chefs Lesley Waters and James Tanner go head to head in a Celebrity Cook-Off!

And the fun doesn't stop there! The Family Fun Zone and Country Trail is a must for the children, while retail therapy is provided for even the most discerning shopper with everything from a giant Craft Fair to the John Lewis Lifestyle and Fashion Pavilion showing off the season's latest collections.

Add to that live music over the three days - with Showaddywaddy and the Glen Miller Tribute Band just two of the varied acts on offer - the Royal Artillery Motorcycle Display Team, International Showjumping, Dog Agility and much, much more - and you might find that visiting for one day just won't be enough!
